Last Friday, we had the privilege of welcoming Giovanni Pensabene Bellavia from Meristem to the IBMCP as part of our TTalks series, where we showcase real-world cases of innovation and technology transfer.

During the session, Giovanni shared an inspiring project developed in collaboration with IBMCP researcher Purificación Lisón. Together, they have created a new natural-origin agrochemical, combining scientific insight and practical application, which enhances crop efficiency and productivity.

This meeting exemplifies how science–industry collaboration can generate sustainable solutions with a tangible market impact. We thank Meristem for generously sharing this experience and for reminding us of the strategic value of technology transfer.
