The IBMCP Equality Committee took part in the 6th Meeting of CSIC Equality Committees, hosted this year by the Institute of Chemical Technology (ITQ) and held at the Nexus building on the UPV campus.
Alongside talks by the head of CSIC and members of the CSIC Delegated Committee for Equality, the meeting featured two roundtable discussions and a poster session. Nine equality committees also shared their experiences through short presentations.
IBMCP colleagues presented a poster showcasing the Committee’s latest initiatives, gave an oral presentation on their activities for the most recent International Day of Women and Girls in Science (11 February), and contributed to the presentation of the WoMent mentoring programme.
The annual meetings of CSIC equality committees provide an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences across research centres and help raise awareness of equality in Spanish science.
