On June 17, 2025, the “Eduardo Torroja” Institute of Construction Sciences (IETCC‑CSIC) in Madrid hosted the 5th CSIC Equality Committees Meeting, and IBMCP once again participated in this annual forum organized by CSIC, its Delegated Equality Committee, and the Women & Science Commission.
The session ran from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm and provided a collaborative platform to reflect, share ideas, and set concrete goals to enhance our research centers as equitable workplaces and vibrant communities.
CSIC President Eloísa del Pino was actively involved in the event, highlighting the institution’s ongoing commitment to gender equality. Key topics included discussions around the Third CSIC Equality Plan, the establishment of new regulatory frameworks for the CSIC Equality Seal, and the sharing of best practices among the different committees.
It was a highly productive gathering 🎯, where the IBMCP team made notable contributions, presenting innovative proposals to foster a culture of equality and respect across all levels of our center.
