IBMCP transfer

About us

IBMCP TRANSFER, the centre’s Technology Transfer Committee, was created with the aim of promoting new projects with applications to industry in the agri-biotechnology sector, as well as strengthening and channelling the centre’s synergies with other research entities and companies, through its different research groups.

IBMCP TRANSFER proposes four action plans

Linkage

Generate new relationships with companies and build loyalty to existing relationships.

Transfer

Identification of results with potential for exploitation and promotion of patent applications and generation of proofs of concept, projects with companies, licensing agreements and creation of spin-offs.

Culture

Promote internal culture related to transfer of results, applied research and communication and collaboration.

Communication

Communicate achievements and progress both internally and externally.

IBMCP Transfer

IBMCP TRANSFER is made up of a multidisciplinary team that includes members with complementary visions (managers and researchers), with extensive experience in transfer projects, and with technological, market and strategic vision, as well as initiative.

The Transfer Committee is coordinated by Dr. Laura Zacarés, Innovation Agent at AVI, and is made up of the following members: Dr. Pablo Vera – Director of the IBMCP and CSIC Research Professor, Dr. Diego Orzáez– Scientific Researcher at the CSIC, Dr. José Antonio Darós– Research Professor at the CSIC, Dr. Puri Lisón– Professor at the UPV, Dr. Jorge Lozano – Ramón y Cajal Researcher, Dr. José Miguel Mulet – Professor at the UPV.

Our work methodology is based on the ‘problem-solution’ approach, through the application of creativity and innovation tools that allow us to understand the needs of the industry and propose innovative and sustainable solutions.

IBMCP TRANSFER works in close collaboration with the Service for the Promotion and Support of Research, Innovation and Transfer (i2T) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, as well as with the Innovation and Transfer Unit of the CSIC, to promote the achievement of cooperation agreements with companies.

IBMCP TRANSFER was created thanks to the grant (INNTA1/2022/13) awarded for the promotion of Innovation Agents (Innoagentes) by the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI) within the Talent Promotion Program of the Plan GenT 2022 call.
