IBMCP Microscopy Service offers the necessary infrastructure and technical support to researchers and research groups from the centre itself as well as from other public institutions.
Our main functions are to optimise scientific resources and make them accessible to all users. Technical assistance, training in the use of the equipment, and advice on the different techniques and image analysis, are provided.
The service is located on the 2nd floor of block 8E staircase G of the Innovation Polytechnic City.
This action is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Funds Operational Programme (ERDF) of the Valencian Community 2014-2020.

NORMS
Users who wish to use any of the equipment located in this laboratory (microtomes, ultramicrotome, cryostat or microscopes) must reserve their use through the PPMS Reservation System (from the intranet). The confocal must be reserved through Gestcompras.
Users must be fully aware of the operation of the equipment they are going to use. The service offers training on the correct use of each device.
Each user must bring their own material for mounting and preparing the samples (tweezers, brushes, slides, coverslips, mounting medium…).
The equipment used must be left clean and covered with its covers after finishing the work.
Any type of breakdown that occurs in the equipment must be reported to the person in charge of the laboratory in order to repair the damage as soon as possible.
