Project Manager for the Severo Ochoa Programme

IBMCP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to support the implementation, monitoring and reporting of its Severo Ochoa Centre of Excellence programme, including the associated internationalisation initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Scientific Director and institutional stakeholders to coordinate strategic activities, monitor milestones, deliverables, indicators and budget execution, and prepare technical and financial reports. The role will also support recruitment, training, outreach, internationalisation and knowledge transfer initiatives funded under the programme.

Applicants should have experience in research project management, preferably in publicly funded research environments, strong organisational and coordination skills, knowledge of national and European research funding frameworks, and excellent written and spoken English.

This is a full-time position based at IBMCP in Valencia, Spain. The contract will initially be linked to the Severo Ochoa programme for the period 2026–2029, with the possibility of extension subject to funding and institutional needs. The expected starting date is September 2026.
