Dr. Rodriguez is a leader in ABA signaling, with particular emphasis on the biotechnological potential of the pathway for improving plant tolerance to drought and salinity. He has played a key role in the discovery and characterization of the new family of PYR/PYL ABA receptors and their connection with PP2Cs and SnRK2s.
